「Clean room, beautiful furnitures」

「Clean room, nice staff, older building but nice interior.」

「This place is a basic motel, clean and serviceable for an overnight stay, but not very pleasant to hang out in. It does not look as nice as the photos online. The desk staff was friendly. The positives are that the location in Grass Valley is convenient and the price is very reasonable compared to many of the lodgings in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area.」

「What a pleasant surprise! We had a group of 8 golfers and we were looking for somewhere near Auburn for a golf tournament and extra rounds that had good reviews and wasn’t ridiculously priced and this place was great. Rooms were renovated, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cute retro feel. 「Smelled of cigarettes. I found a cigarette butt under my bed. The floor was yucky. There was no waste basket. Electric outlets did not work properly. The cooling unit did not work properly. The bathtub was clean and I did enjoy a bath.」

「The open breakfast is a nice feature just standard items. The location is great because a lot of stores are near by if you need anything. My issue was the room smelled like mold/wet sock a bit which was off putting. The room is not soundproof well and the room was in front of this gutter where the water was falling from the second floor into the grass creating a puddle that I heard all not. For what is was, the price point, and everything near by it was an okay stay. 」

「Breakfast was good, except for the scrambled eggs. They were in very small pieces and watery. 」

「The floor of our room was sticky. Very pet friendly. Breakfast buffet was not stocked well, specifically they were out of coffee the first day and out of hot water the next. To be fair, once I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, they alerted the breakfast crew and they remedied the problem. 」

「Ok stay, but neighbor next door was loud upon arrival and for a while into the night.」

「Repair work is need in the room that I stayed in, the toilet seat was loose and needs to be replaced. The body wash soap contain was completely empty. Hair was in the tub and the floor under the night stand was dirty. 」
