"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"This is a beautiful luxury resort with all the amenities and it has a super friendly atmosphere. The spa experience is top notch and the therapists are excellent. There were some areas that were not open and under renovation during our stay. There were also a few restaurants that were closed which made the selection limited. Still, the accommodations are beautiful and the 2200 acres spectacular. A lot to see and do so if you are alone or traveling with kids there are plenty of activities."

Over several hours they never re-contacted us. We’d have to constantly contact them. We were able to figure out the password which was different than the one they had listed."

"The house is very well equipped inside and out. Despite the rainy weather we found plenty to do with DVDs, lots to read and suggestions for eateries and activities in the Howell's guide book. The hot tub was the best we had ever been in and we were able to enjoy it in the rain and finally sun! The outdoor property is enchanting and would be fun for little ones. We didn't get to use the kayaks but vests of all sizes were available inside, nice and clean. My husband fished off the dock mornings and evenings with success as rivers were too high. We intend to come back. It was the BEST!!"

"The cabin was very cozy, accommodating, and comfy. The only thing we would recommend is to replace the queen mattress, as it is uncomfortable rolling to the middle, and also the LR couch, also very worn and uncomfortable seating.However, we would recommend this place to others & would come back again, with these improvements as mentioned."

"This property was fantastic for a multi-generational vacation with 11 family members (6 adults, 5 children). The location is great in that it's close to activities, but also far enough away that there is not constant traffic on the road. With the home having 5 bedrooms (each has their own bathroom!), there was plenty of space for everyone to call their own during our stay. The big hit for the kids was the pool, arcade games, and children's toys downstairs. The adults enjoyed the fire pit, both fireplaces, and the expansive deck. The large kitchen is full of various appliances/tools made it easy to cook all our meals; the large walk in pantry was a wonderful surprise to store all of our extra groceries and keep the counters clear! Jill was a wonderful host and responded to messages before and during the trip almost immediately. We had a wonderful time, and cannot wait to visit again in the future!"
