"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"We loved this unit. The host gave us a lot of helpful information to make our stay great. There was an indoor pool that we enjoyed as well as the lake across the street, shops and restaurants in walking distance and nor far from SwallowFalls. The unit was spacious, clean and perfect for our family. We each had a different floor but not too many steps so we weren't too far away. Definitely would rent again!"

"It was so nice to have a property not just meet expectations but surpass them! The three modern master suites worked perfectly for our family group with the bunk room and queen bedroom for the kids. The patio and camp fires were enjoyed by all, with the hot tub very relaxing after our busy days. Plenty of room outside for the kids to play, The dock was great for fishing and made the decision of getting a boat for a few days easy. Location was great for our hiking trips and nice restaurants nearby to choose from. We will be staying again!"

"The house was clean and nice. The oven stopped working on our visit, but owners worked to remedy that immediately. We felt it (the location) was close distance to everything we wanted to do in the area. Would definitely return. The views of the lake from the house are small due to larger homes built on the other side of the road, lake. Deck and outdoor seating was nice as well."

"The home was perfect for our family gathering - variety of ages. Having a private bath for each bedroom was great!! The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were hits. The kitchen and dining area worked wonderfully for food prep and serving and dining. The outdoor space was limited for 'play' but the fire pit made up for that! We took in hikes (suggest Swallow Falls) and an afternoon at the lake. A fishing excursion with Captain Phil was the highlight of the 7 year old. He was perfect with young ones.The home was clean and comfortable. The communication with the host was exceptional - very attentive and available. Not on the lake but wasn't critical as we could travel a short distance for the lake - and the children preferred the indoor pool. Highly recommend the property and the host!!"
