"The highlight of my week in japan — a beautiful, peaceful place with stunning views, friendly staff, and an amazing onsen. Highly recommend getting the breakfast option as well. I would recommend staying here to anyone in the area. "
"This is a very authentic Japanese hotel and appeared to be mostly Japanese tourists. The dinner buffet had very loud live performance and the audience was definitely into it. There's an onsen at this hotel and a pool. The pool closes early and opens late so heads up. We didn't really pay attention to where the hotel was. "Staff was VERY friendly & accomdating. Best hotel experience I’ve had so far. A bit far from Osaka but bus stop in front of hotel takes you right to the train station. "
"It was an old building that was okay but not well-maintained. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly, despite their limited English. The great bonus was the onsen (hot spring). The room was very big—almost three times the size of other rooms we stayed in during our visit to Japan. However, the location was not good at all, being next to a busy highway and very far from the old town or Nara Park."
