"I loved staying here. The rooms are spacious and beautiful and I especially enjoyed the large balcony. The staff is excellent. The only negative is the location of the hotel which is far from town and isolated. The hotel will order you a taxi, though ($6-$8 one way to town) and respond very quickly on WhatsApp so it really wasn't an issue."

"Dated property. Patio doors didn’t lock, so anyone could come in your room wether you were gone or middle of the night sleeping. "

The hotel is very clean and the owners very friendly. There is a nice Sauna you can book and breakfast was amazing! "I love this hotel , it’s family owned and the owners are very nice people . The continental breakfast was great with variety of food to choose from . The rooms were clean, the AC and fridge worked well and there was plenty of hot water for shower . Each room had its own table in front with 2 chairs to enjoy the evenings on the island . The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. The hotel provides shuttle service from the airport when requested. We were greeted with leis made from local flowers . It was such a nice welcoming gesture . During the stay , the owners often gave us fresh fruits : mango , watermelon, maracuja and soft drinks free of charge . It is an excellent hotel . "

What really stood out was the level of personal care. Every morning, Wolfgang would bring us fresh apples—such a simple gesture, yet it made us feel genuinely cared for. "Just about everything in Rapa Nui (including much of the water) needs to be brought by boat or plane from Chile and often from farther afield. As a result, things are used and repaired until they fall apart. This shows in some areas of the hotel. If you take that into consideration, this hotel is very well run. We appreciated the suggestions and help from the staff, as well as the free transfer to and from the airport."

"Room was exactly how it was depicted. Super clean and modern for the island. It is quiet and secluded which is what I value. My host Lani greeted me and was extremely responsive to my texts when I had questions. I am planning to return to Rapa Nui and this is the only place I’d stay."
