"Our first visit to Hiroshima and so glad that we chose Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate to spend our 4 nights there. The standout highlight was being greeted at the hotel reception by Makiko who guided us through check-in, then went above and beyond expectations by delivering us a hand-written note and maps of Hiroshima, to make the most of our time in the city. We asked for a quiet room and this request was fulfilled, the hotel's location being superb with so many eating options within 3-5 minutes of the front door. Breakfast was extensive and entertaining, especially with the cat-faced robot going around collecting empty trays and dishes."

The location was awesome, close to everything - restaurants, shopping, sightseeing etc. the breakfast was like nothing I’ve seen before with fish, chicken, rice, soup, eggs etc. you’ll not go hungry. "Overall room is clean even tho it is small (which is normal in Japan), it has everything. Room set up is like APA, hence you can store your luggages under or at the end of the bed. The buffet breakfast was very good deal for the price with lots.of varieties of food. Staff is friendly and friendly. Very close to Hiroshima station as well."
