「Lovely quiet hotel in Machico, short walking distance to the sea front. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were very helpful with an issue I had with my passport and helping with my luggage while I went Scuba diving after check out.」

「Due to our flight being delayed we arrived at the hotel later than planned. This was however not a problem as the owner had sent us a message previously telling us how to use the key safe to collect our keys. Our first floor room was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was wonderful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a shame but the mini fridge was very handy. The whole hotel was spotless and our room was made up each day. Breakfast was continental and...

「The house was spotless and a good location to get on highway. It was near the airport and could hear planes landing and taking off but did not hear planes after 11 p m. The owner lives in lower level and was very nice but did not speak much English and I do not speak Portuguese so checking in was a little complicated. I liked the location it was not as busy as Funchal and overlooked the mountains. The island is spectacular and would definitely recommend a stay on this island. 」

「Le logement est très propre, l’aménagement est très cosy, le cadre est ok. On a beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le seul point négatif est l’emplacement. Nous nous sommes sentis observés par les voisins. Et il manquerait un peu d’ustensiles pour la cuisine : un éplucheur à légumes et une passoire pour les pâtes serait parfait.👍」
