「The accommodation is very beautiful in everything - rooms, pools, garden,… The Host was very nice and had good lunch/dining recommendations for us. The breakfast was really good and offered us a big variety. The room and bathroom was clean and pretty. There are enough parking spots. We would definitely come back when we are in Franschhoek.」

「Stunning bedroom views from this lodge and exceptional service and kind attitude from Shannon ! Food was also great. It’s an older lodge that has been upgraded with excellent bathroom fixtures and main bedroom lighting. Wifi is a little slow, early morning hot water taps need to run a bit before hot water arrives and the sliding partition in our room 2 needs to be replaced with a frosted glass door as the current wooden sliding partition is a little stiff to open . Otherwise an excellent choice...

「Sad to leave but thrilled to have stayed at Akademie. However we do have unfinished business so we will be back, that is certain. Our room was just exceptional: spacious, well equipped and the staff fired up the balcony hottub based on our return time, you might think a hottub in the glorious weather we had, but yes…. To sit there for 30 minutes and just stare at the mountains and the blue sky above was magical. The breakfasts either served in the orangery of pool side were a taste bud delight....

「Stayed here 2/19/24 through 2/21. Location and property are absolutely beautiful, but unwalkable from downtown Franschhoek, so you'll need a rental car or us their recommended taxi service via Whatsapp if you plan to drink lots of wine. Uber was not reliable in this area. The staff were very nice and the breakfast options were good, but limited. I would highly recommend this location. 」

「Our first stay at Leeu estates did not disappoint. We have stayed at several other properties in the area and this one just sneaks to the prime position, as our new favourite. Very peaceful, luxurious, great service, wonderful dining options, fabulous rooms and amenities. Staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. 「学会出張で利用しました。大学のある街。空港からのタクシーは予約しておきました。小さいながら整えられた可愛い庭を過ぎて玄関へ。フロント係は毎日替わりますがどの方も親切で、こちらのつたない英語にも辛抱して対応していただき、当日前日からのツアーやレストラン、交通手段の予約の相談にのってもらえました。空き時間に行ったペンギンのくる浜辺もテーブルマウンテンも喜望峰を含む半島ツアーも大満足です。部屋に置いてある案内に、街中のおすすめレストランが挙げられてて参考になります。清潔さについては何も問題ないです。アメニティは揃ってたと思いますが自分でも持って行きました。朝ごはんはバイキングですが、卵料理は選べて出来立てがテーブルにきます。スーパーは歩いて10分くらいのところにあります。ほかに水とかスナックを置いてるタバコ屋もあるけど地元民さんと距離が近くて少し怖かったかな。でも南アフリカのイメージと違ってとても穏やかな空気の流れるいい街です。夕暮れに染まるワイン畑と山々には心が洗われました。」

We really enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant during the sunset, complimentary wine tasting, breakfast with the great view, bath time with flower petals, complimentary wine and chocolate in the room.
