"Hotel Lucent in Menlo Park was a pleasant experience - warm, welcoming staff and a location that puts you 1-2 blocks away from great cafes, restaurants, and shops. The rooms are comfortable, with housekeeping that keeps everything spotless. A note of caution: if you’re in a room facing El Camino Real, you may hear the occasional traffic zoom by, but most rooms are quiet and restful. The lobby is a nice bonus, complete with a pool table and ping pong that adds a touch of fun to the stay."
"Highly recommend. Rooms were very nice, large and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helped in any way they can. Best part of it was that since we have stayed here a few times while in town they surprised us and upgraded us to the VIP room at no charge. Staying here next time in town for sure. "

"Everything was great except I checked in and my toilet wasn’t working. I told the desk staff and they made a note to fix it ASAP.
I was very impressed by the continental breakfast; it’s much more than that! Plus they have a great coffee machine. I usually wear ear plugs to help me sleep, no matter where I’m at, so the noise of El Camino Real was a non-factor. Good location too!"
