「Great location, cute basic home. Of note there are no extra blankets for your bed, or a throw to cuddle under for the couch, the mattress pads/covers were on the box spring/foundation and not the mattress itself so just a sheet on bare mattress. (Very odd!) There is a wood stove but please bring your own wood, starter and a new lighter. *of note most wood bundles were longer lengths and were hard to get into the wood stove without removing the front grate just fyi watch the length. 「Easy access. Beautiful forest setting and creek access. Cozy little cabins have all u really need. 2 person hot tub was ready to go and enjoyable. Could use open/close able blackout shades over skylights so can sleep in a little longer. Otherwise really nice and easy 10min drive into soquel/Capitola village. Would return in a minute if wanting forest vs beach setting. Bonus is it’s out of the coastal fog bank. 」

「Aimee has an adorable little cabin that's just out side Santa Cruz and Scott's Valley. Many things to do nearby while feeling like a forest get-away. The cabin was tidy and well kept. Aimee was a wonderful host. Looking forward to staying again. 」

「The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Shorts drives to the beaches in Capitola and Santa Cruz , the cabin is cute and has everything you need .my wife enjoyed the hot tub .we will be back 」

「We absolutely loved our stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. This place is nestled within the redwoods and is an absolute gem. The house and property are tailored to ensure a peaceful and relaxing vacation. And, the hosts are very welcoming and communicated exceptionally. Overall, 10/10 recommend!」

「I would go back, but not in the main house unless they resolve the soundproofing. The main house is directly attached to their office, and unfortunately, the noise from the office carried straight through the wall. It often felt like the conversations—both phone and in-person—were happening inside our cabin. 「This property is beautiful! The parking is tricky」

「Very pretty location with lovely picture window overlooking the creek and redwoods. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen except a wine opener is needed. Not their fault that Oct 2 was a 104 degrees but a workable A/C would have made it better. It did cool down at night so would still recommend this home. 」

「Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine.」

「The host, Ali, was great and accommodating. Thank you! He responded to questions quickly. After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning. It is a peaceful and serene place.The road to this cabin, which the owner tells you upfront is absolutely horrible. It is a 1 lane road that has hairpin turns, holes and will make you question your sanity of choosing this cabin.
