"Property needs maintenance. There is a nice pool but unfortunately it’s unavailable to use. It was a hot weekend and pool is empty. Bathroom needs to be updated. (Toilet seat was loose) Price was good but you get what you pay for . It’s a great surrounding area however hotel needs an update. I wouldn’t book again. Staff very friendly. It was a one night stay. I came late left early. If I had to stay more than one day I would have asked for another room"

"You do not get what you pay for. The property is very run down, there are no amenities to really speak of. But what's worse is there is absolutely NO SECURITY on the premises. The phone system did not work in both rooms I stayed in.The nighttime activity is at a high. The rent is not cheap, I expected more than what was here. The staff is polite and as helpful as permitted. The main access road to the motel is under construction, lots of noise from 8am to 5pm daily except weekends. Animals are permitted. I won't ever stay here again"

"The property was extremely clean; the room very clean and comfortable. Parking under the hotel was easy and the location close to freeways was excellent. The staff member at the front desk was very pleasant and gave us our room keys (literally keys) but gave us little to no information about hotel amenities.if there were any. We were visiting some family in Los Gatos and would definitely stay at the Carlyle when visiting again."

"Lovely experience staying overnight to see a show at the ritz. Parking is very secure. Deposit is 50 per night. I asked one of the front desk staff a question and he said he was new and that I should ask the other person, which I appreciate the honesty. Seamless checkout. You do need a room key to operate the elevator and parking is a charge. Just a heads up. This was a 5 minute walk from downtown. We have a lovely time."
