Summary:
High-speed Internet, Private Garden, No shared spaces. You are going to love it here! Let's start with the interiors where i enlisted the help of a team of local interior designers to help make my home feel special for guests; you want your trip to London to be a memorable one :) If it's all about location, then my place is literally a one minute walk to the closest tube station so great for transport links. New supermarket next door. Westfield 10 mins walk only.

The Space:
High-speed Internet, Private Garden, No shared spaces. You'll have the whole apartment to yourself. This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. There are all the mod cons here for you, including a brand new HIVE heating installation which will keep you nice and cosy in the chilly British weather.

The living room is open plan and has a contemporary glamorous feel to it. You can thank the interior designers for the cool design touches and upmarket furnishings. Perhaps more importantly, there is a comfy sofa for guests to use where you can put your feet up in the evenings, kick back and relax! Fancy an evening off? Then sit back, relax and turn on the flat screen TV. There are plenty of channels on Freeview and YouTube for you to enjoy. Recently installed an Amazon Echo Show (smart speaker, it is designed around Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa). The living area is also home to the dining area, which is the perfect spot to enjoy some local delicacies. Top tip, try out Portobello Road for some international food stalls - you will be sure to take home some edible goodies from here!

There are also all the mod-cons such as toaster, kettle and dishwasher that you might expect. Enjoy dinner with family & friends on the private, connected terrace - it's the top floor with the best view and just a step outside. . .
We really want to ensure that you have a comfortable stay here in London!

There are two good sized bedrooms in the house both with queen beds. There are colourful and contemporary homely touches everywhere to keep our guests interested. There is also plenty of storage space for guests to store all their belongings.

Finally, the bathroom is bright and contemporary in style and one has a bath (which really is a treat in central London)! The bathrooms will always come stocked with plenty of white fluffy towels to ensure that you have a comfortable stay in London.

The apartment comes with a combi washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, so that you can look fresh for exploring the city or for any business meetings!

Please note the Garden is private to the Development but Communal to all residents. Access is from the internal rear door, opposite the entrance to the ground floor.

Guest Access:
The apartment is your own. Cleaned professionally to Airbnb - COVID standards with fresh luxury linens and toiletries, it's prepared for each new visitor.

Key collection is a ten minute walk from the Apartment. if arriving by taxi please collect keys and be dropped to our Apartment building.

Our apartment is a 'penthouse' style apartment and as the only Apartment on the third floor it has a private landing but no lift to the third floor. There are two short flights of stairs from second floor to third floor.

On the way down from our Apartment you can walk down to the second floor and around the second floor side of the building to take the lift from the second floor, all the way down to the Ground floor. 

Should you wish to use this lift on arrival then please follow these aforementioned steps to take the lift down from second to ground floor. Then open the building door to Shalfleet Drive and and now take your luggage from the ground floor to the second floor.

The Neighborhood:
There’s a reason why so many films are set in Notting Hill. The neighborhood’s cobblestoned streets weave through scrunched alleyways and richly furnished Victorian town homes, and its stylish shops and passionate antique vendors satiate design-driven appetites—Notting Hill’s famed Portobello Road Market is a rummager’s delight. Make sure you look out for the best doorknob shop in London. Celebrated as much for its idyllic streetscapes as it is for its cafe lifestyle and ephemeral fancies, it’s easy to understand Notting Hill's cinematic celebrity. As you can see, there is so much more to Notting Hill than the famous movie which was filmed here! There are also plenty of bars and restaurants which are busy throughout the week with young professionals and families alike. Take a trip to Portobello Road for the best selection of unique shops - including the best doorknob shop in London! Westfield massive Hyper shopping center has just been enlarged 2X and has excellent restaurants and entertainments; its a short 10 minute walk away.

Getting Around:
Latimer Road tube station is a stone's throw walk from my place. This tube station is serviced by the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines.

There are also plenty of buses in the area, which are a great way of travelling if you like to have a peek at your surroundings as you travel.

A great local tip is to download the Citymapper app. This free app will plan your journey for you efficiently and quickly. It gives you a variety of different transport options such as bike, rail, tube and Uber taxi. It will also take you step by step through your journey as you travel and notify you when you are nearing your destination.

Great property

The property was excellent, great area. Check-in and out process was cumbersome as keys had to be picked up and dropped off at a different location but they did say they were looking into it so may have changed. Aside from that, a great stay

Overall proximity to the tube & co-op very convenient. Clean & has what you need. However, beds are basically cots & uncomfortable, key is inconvenient to obtain, & area a little questionable.

Lovely apartment about 30 minute tube ride to city. It is evident the owners put a lot of effort into ensuring a rental that is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The host maker team were excellent with communications: quick to respond, always kind with evident desire to provide excellent service. Thank you!
