Host did not communicate check in instructions until after 6pm on day of check-in, despite numerous attempts to contact her.The studio itself is well located, close to tubes and popular tourist sites, but I would not recommend it to families, especially in the summer. The studio was hot and with the window open at night the noise below made it impossible to sleep (ppl drunk and shouting obscenities, cars revving their engines etc.). The beds were also very uncomfortable.No WiFi in the unit. Upon arrival I asked for wifi password. She was unsure and instructed me to look on the box by the TV. When I indicated to her that there was no box she then instructed me to use another property's open WiFi, but did not indicate whether or not she or her guests where authorized to use it. When I expressed my concern about this she replied that no one else had every complained. Door clip on washer was broken and would not lock, making it unusable. When messaged the host regarding this, she chose not to respond. The listing has since been changed and does not include a washer in the amenities. Overall, although this studio was clean and conveniently located, it was run down and not managed properly. There were key amenities listed but not available or broken. There was poor communication with the host and the pictures on the VRBO site did not accurately depict the unit. (i.e. pictures show bunk beds and an oven, however the unit had 2 double beds and a sofa bed and no oven).
