「This stay was the perfect hotel for relaxation, away from the madness of Funchal. It gave us a perfect base to tour the island. It gave us the chance to cover many levada walks and tour the island by car ( a car is essential if you want to explore). The hotel ran many other sessions including rum punch making, wine tasting and botanical tours. The facilities includes a freshwater pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as spa facilities. 「Das Hotel und das Zimmer ist sehr schön. Man hat einen super Blick auf das Meer, da man hoch am Hügel ist. Das rauffahren zum Hotel und parken ist ein bisschen challenging, was aber auf die gesamte Insel zutrifft ;) Das Frühstück war jeden Tag super lecker und wurde serviert. Das Personal ist sehr Kundenorientiert und immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Hotel für jeden weiterempfehlen, der entspannen möchte und etwas fernab vom Trubel seinen Urlaub genießen möchte」

「Hotel is situated on a shore of the ocean, so through bedroom windows and balcony we saw only ocean, waves and had magnificent view. Food was excellent in the restaurant, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spotles. Highly recommended to everyone!!!!」
