「The hotel reception was well run and check-in went very smoothly. Our room which was on the ground floor was spacious, very clean and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The only down side was the complicated lighting arrangement in the room. In the morning, we found the breakfast well stocked with a reasonable range of item. All in all it was a very nice stay」

Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome」
