"This was a last minute mini get away for my nephew's birthday, I wish we could have stayed longer, to actually use the pool or spend time on the beach, but now we know where to stay next year! Check in is normally 4pm, however they were so sweet and let us check in hours early so we could unload our car and get ready for the concert (the main reason for the last minute stay). I am very appreciative to the kind staff and ease of check in/out process."

"Great location - perfect view of the lake; a short walk to shopping, the shore, and to the historic fort next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there 4 times. Also a nice bar with sports on tv. We made use of the on-site complimentary Tesla destination chargers. In town, one night we went to a great steak house - George’s - and had decadent steak and prime rib dinners. We went on a lunch cruise one day - also walking distance from the hotel grounds. Our only teeny complaint was that the $24/person to sit around a bonfire in the evening seemed expensive. We’ll splurge sometimes, but…."

"Positives: Property was well maintained and had a nice pool, playground, and picnic/grilling area. Check-in to our room was very easy and the front desk staff was friendly. The location of the property was convenient to walk into town. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom was clean, and great water pressure in the shower. Room for improvement: The couch in our room had several stains."

"Room was clean, beds comfortable, shower was good. Only drawback was the a/c unit which emitted smelly air...mildewy? Nice location at the edge of the busy part of town, walkable to restaurants. I was impressed with the beautiful fresh flower hanging baskets on every porch, the outside area is nice, pool looked great, front desk staff very pleasant. Seems like a good place for families with kids."
