「Location and pool area are fantastic but the food at the pool bar is awful. The hotel needs updating too. The elevator and hallways smell old and musty. Our washing machine didn’t clean the clothes at all and the oven literally took 30mins to preheat. We had an ocean view but it was not direct and for what we paid for the room, I felt ocean view was false advertisement. You can’t see it from the living room. Bartenders and staff were fantastic though.」

「We throughly enjoyed our stay in this 2 bedroom condo in the Honua Kai resort. We have previously rented many condos but none were as clean at this one was upon our arrival. Communication with the host, Fereshteh was excellent. We had one small issue that was resolved quickly. Some of the small details included: shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in each shower; dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, garbage bags,use of 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, pool noodles and cooler. 「We absolutely loved this unit. After a 6 hour flight and several more hours waiting for bags, getting groceries and driving from the airport, we couldn’t have asked for a better condo. Traveling with a 7 month old and 10 year old is not always easy and as soon as we opened the door we felt right at home. The unit is spotlessly clean, the beds (king and sofa) were very comfortable, the lanai, ocean view and first floor location were perfect. It’s a good thing the pools closed at 8pm, otherwise...

「Property was beautiful, rooms were perfect. Beach was also great with walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Cleaners were too thorough in the kitchen- leaving zero condiments, coffee or any staples; but couches had some food underneath and some liquid spill across the floor. Nothing we couldn’t deal with and overall had a great time!」

「Our family loved our stay at the resort. Whale watching was our primary goal and the location and time of year delivered! We were able to see whales directly from our balcony and from the beach. The pools and amenities were a hit with the whole family and the two-room lockout villa was perfect for the six of us.」

「A large studio condo with a great mountain view and amenities. Lovely Oceanside pool and spa with gate access to a walkable beach with good swimming. An easy walk to shops and restaurants in Lahaina. We had parking in an underground garage for our rental car. The daily parking fee was less than $5 per day.
