「The property is nestled into a tranquil hillside surrounded by trees and wildlife with easy access to hiking trails and adorable nearby towns with great places to eat. 「The cottage was spotless and a true retreat. We arrived after dark and Teresa had left the lights on for us. The next morning we woke up, opened the curtain in the bedroom and were greeted by a huge Redwood inches from our window. The cottage is nestled among redwoods. 「We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this wonderfully unique place. It was very comfortable and clean, with nice touches like fresh eggs (courtesy of the beautiful chickens on the property), coffee, tea, milk, butter, and candy. Kitchen facilities are minimal, but there is a fridge, toaster oven, microwave, electric grill, coffee maker and hot water pot, as well as a good Webber grill outside in the peaceful, private garden area, where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. 「Unit itself was great for pets, and host was very gracious about having a furry guest! Dog bowls, towels, and treats were also provided. Place was clean and super comfortable. Only minor downside is that the neighborhood is not very walkable beyond Ash street, stuck in between two main thoroughfares with not much shoulder/sidewalk/trail space. But just a short 5-10 min drive into downtown Mill Valley! (Also great Wi-Fi speeds!)」
