「Can not rate this high enough! Best stay for our trip, host was very welcoming and accommodating- accommodation was fantastic with everything we needed. Will definitely try and rebook next trip. Thank you for a lovely stay.」

「Once we found the place and got it heated to a desirable temperature, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I personally found all the spices & sauces & cooking oils (mostly Chinese) left on the kitchen counter a little too much. The place was clean and spacious for the 4 adults and one toddler. Furniture, dishes and toys for the 2 year old was very comforting and useful. The location was also very convenient. From Kanamecho, Ikebukuro was walking distance and so much wonderful shopping...

「Place was absolutely amazing. The host thought of every possible amenity a family of travellers could ask for. My siblings and I (5 in total) we're looking for a reasonable priced accommodation within Tokyo and we were not disappointed. With 4 bedrooms 1.5 bathrooms and laundry facilities it had everything we needed. The host decked left small Halloween mementos as we were travelling on October. There a 7 Eleven 3ins walk from the property and is situated right next to a train station ...

「Incredibly convenient location, just a very short walk to the train station. Very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were big enough for us. Only thing I would say to be aware of is that the 3 floors are divided by a single staircase that is a bit narrow and steep. There is a Lawson right down the road, on the way to the train station. Excellent for when you're coming back late at night. The Lawson is a great pickup/drop-off spot for taxis if you need a ride.」

「It was a great place to stay. Across the street from a temple and large cemetery. Sweet residential neighborhood but close to lots of restaurants and a major shopping street. Easy walk to the train station. But we took a cab in and out with our luggage. So nice to have more space than a 120 sq ft hotel room for a similar price. The host was very responsive to questions.」

「We spent a month in this home, allowing us to 'go slow' and really immerse ourselves in Tokyo with our two primary school-aged children. Best points:- the river is beautiful: lots of opportunities for carp spotting and scenic walks. - all basics are nearby (supermarket, convenience store etc...)- choice of two local train stations (Oji and Itabashi) to get into Tokyo city, plus a busThings to consider:- this isn't the 'hip' part of town, but is great for families. - trains are 15 min walk away,...
