The amazing tatami room that you sleep in makes it seem like you’re in an old tea house in the countryside of Japan. Nice homey Japan feeling.

Such a beautiful place. So comfortable, clean and cozy. Felt like home but way nice. the loveliest owner, yoshi made our stay so welcoming and comfortable. We hope to stay again one day. Thank you so much!

Staff was tremendous and this was a super fun historic stay.

Definitely recommend!!! We had an Awesome Time!!! Thank you for everything!!!

A very nice Ryokan in an exciting neighbourhood. The room was in traditional Japonese style, very sparse, no chair, only a low table, one foot high to sit on. Sleeping is on comfortable futans, also very low. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, even to the point of walking us to a nearby excellent restaurant on the corner.

Had a pleasant 2 night stay here, staff very friendly. Note that it’s communal bathroom and showers

This hotel is a traditional style building which is also called a Japanese Ryokan. The building walls and windows do not keep out the noise and light as well as new building. The rooms have heat/AC to help this, but you can hear the light street noise. Bring your earplugs if needed. Also, you sleep on a traditional mat on the floor. The showers are great and roomy for local standards. I enjoyed staying here and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

I enjoyed my stay

The host was very accommodating, friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend staying at his place.

Short walk to train station.

The name is exactly as it implies. It was a short but cozy stay. Would book again.

Nice stay, very clean and very extraordinary

Great location, many restaurants and stores in the area, easy trains to downtown tokyo and surrounding areas. Great place to stay.

We stayed the night without having any contact with the staff. The room key was in a lock box. The code was emailed to me. A steep staircase led to the second floor. The room was larger than I expected for a Japanese hotel in that price range.
