"Staff seemed to struggle to maintain breakfast service , coffee machine broken for too long a period, room had a hillock on window that had unbelievably been screwed locked!!!!!!!!just generally a hotel that offers much but could bo more. Tired looking and in need of some TLC."

"Yes it’s dated and needs a spruce up but for the price we paid we couldn’t complain. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was superb with both a choice of cooked and continental. Kids loved the swimming pool which was a small extra charge. Plenty of parking room to front of hotel and tram stop to centre was straight outside. We had a sea-view room which was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly, helpful and extremely hard working. Special credit and thanks to the lady in the breakfast room who never stopped and provided us with a lovely cooked breakfast to set us up for our busy days. We hope to come back to see the illuminations sometime later in the year. "

"Great staff, large bed in a spacious very comfortable room. Good shower, fluffy towels. The best value for us, next to the station and a large supermarket. Quiet for sleeping, and a nice breakfast."
