This place was absolutely wonderful! My first time experiencing an onsen and it was amazing. The shuttle pick up and drop off from the train station was great. The Yunomori onsen ryokan was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner was incredible and the staff were 10/10 amazing. We had an in-room onsen and it was perfect. The entire place was clean and incredibly cozy. I would absolutely recommend Yunomori to anybody! It's a short walk to Yuno Lake nearby and also some beautiful waterfalls. I highly recommend this place to stay in Nikko. It was a very special experience for us.

Top Notch facility. Excellent buffet, in which they came up with innovated ways and controls due to the COVID situation. Staff eager to help with anything. Location was nice as it was right on the river. Plan to go back during the Spring or early summer as scenery is spectacular.

We absolutely loved the private onsen in our room. Staff was very helpful in ordering a cab to the train station. I would skip the full board dinners in favor of supporting the local businesses!

This historic hotel, founded it in 1870, is beautifully located and provides an exceptional experience in every way. The staff got a backpack left on the bus back to us within an hour. The onsen is a dream. I would love to be able to return someday.

Super relaxing and tranquil hotel. We enjoyed our private onsen and were very happy with our room. The futon is not for us as we learned after our first night. Was too hard. So just be aware of that. Otherwise perfect. We happily would come back.

One of the best hostels have stayed at. Very clean, modern, beautiful kitchen. Great staff. However, there are challenges if you do not have a car. The distance to the train station going into the city is really quite a walk. Taxis are not always available. So I advise you MUST make arrangements for staff to pick you up at the train station and you must make arrangements at least one day in advance. They need to arrange to have an extra person on staff in order to be able to pick you up. There...
