"The farmhouse was ideal for our family Christmas week together. We were often crowded into the kitchen together or working on a puzzle on the large dining room table. The beverage room was extremely popular, as was the hot tub. The hosts left some sweets for us and the house was decorated for Christmas everywhere you looked. They had robes for the hot tub and plenty of towels, not to mention slippers for everyone! Very attentive to details! We would definitely stay again. "

"Easy place to stay. Provisions included TP, salt & pepper, nearly anything needed to cook a meal, a fancy toaster oven, and clean linens. The mattress in the first floor bedroom was comfy. I didn’t try the others. :) Owner was easy to contact and very helpful! Great place to stay with our 3 dogs. "

"Unfortunately, this property needs an entire makeover. The pictures online are NOT at all representative of the current condition of this house. Everything inside and outside is extremely outdated. The kitchen needs new cabinets and countertops, the sink faucet barely puts sufficient water out of it to clean a dish, the dishes were 6" plastic that appeared to be children's dishes from a beach house. There was NO glass ware, with the exception of a few coffee mugs...everything else was plastic.The house needs new floors throughout, in addition to a new paint job to make it worth the price point that we paid. The lighting throughout the house is very dark and needs upgraded fixtures.The house overall was not very clean and the cleaning company had to come back after the first couple of hours to re-clean the countertops in the kitchen. The exterior of the house needs a lot of attention as well. There are a number of windows with paint on them, torn screens and chipped paint or rotted window trim. The exterior sidewalks and entry ways are in need of repair and new paint. The upstairs master bedroom had a portable air conditioner that blocked one side of the bed and was extremely noisy. The upstairs bathroom is outdated and needs an upgrade. The downstairs /Basement shower and bathroom are outdated and not clean. This is basically a six bedroom house with one bathroom upstairs that is in need of an upgrade. The upstairs bedrooms are very dark and lack sufficient lighting."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Drift Away was great for friends and family celebrating a 60th birthday! The house was spacious, well-appointed and clean. We had 11 people most of the time and there was plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit was fun and the golf cart made everything so easy. A few things:Some of the utensils (especially knives) need to be replaced. We kept setting off the smoke alarm by using the stove, so not sure what's going on there. We had some minor issues on Friday and the property manager came on Saturday to address."

"The location was excellent for kids....right next to the playground. Having access to the golf cart for driving back and forth to the beach was a huge plus! Beach toys, chairs and a wagon were present which was nice for transport. The house is older but mostly well maintained. The roof deck is not accessible, despite pictures showing it online. However, this was not a huge deal for our group. We had plenty of space and the starter kit of toilet paper, soap, etc....was more than enough for our stay. Overall, a great place to stay with plenty of room and great amenities. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling with multiple families, especially with smaller children."
