"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. "We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs."

"We had to book the Park Royal as a last minute booking the night we got to Langkawi due to a bad experience at another resort. I was able to book and get to the resort within an hour, and myself and my husband were amazed how beautiful the place was! The room itself was spacious, with a balcony with a handy clothes drying rail built in, the room had all amenities needed - an iron and board, scales, hair dryer etc. everything was clean and tidy. . The shower was great, with the rainfall top and we liked that the shower and toilet were separated. The breakfast was great, a huge selection of fresh and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed this! Overall had a great experience here and would highly recommend. "

"Beautiful wooden cabin set among forest but overlooking the beautiful beach. We had a lovely room always clean. Nice gesture of fruit on first day. Also fantastic free mini bar . Stunning setting saw lots of monkeys lizards etc. I loved the mountains and sky cables in the distance. Wonderful Malaysian hospitality. It’s very quiet around the area no shops or restaurants to speak of only the village at the bottom of Sky bridge. Which is walking distance although they run a shuttle. It’s shuts at 7 pm I would definitely stay there again. Thinking of bring my family for my 60th in 2028 . "
