"Yuichi is an awesome host. The property was very clean and well maintained"

"The room is very clean"

"The room was a great size, incredibly clean and perfect for our family of 4"

"Great value for money. 3 rooms on 2nd floor and 1st floor is common area with toliet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator. Traditional Japanese style room. Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof. No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room. Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"Clean room, great location!"

"The property was great. Friendly staff, great location and great amenities. I would stay there again."

"Stayed at Ben’s guesthouse for 3 days and two night. The washer and dryer was a really good addition, the space was clean and it was nice to have amenities like the kitchen. It was fairly a decent size for three people but the only struggle was the four flight of stairs but besides that I had a wonderful stay!"

"This is the best hotel I stayed in on my trip to Japan if you are staying in Kyoto book this hotel"

"Excellent stay!"

"Amazing room, great location and friendly and helpful staff"

"It was perfect. Thank you!"

"Liked having washing machine, but I can read Japanese. Appliances (bath tub, air con, washer) might prove baffling if you can't read Japanese"

"The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We love being able to cook some eggs and toast for breakfast a few days because we had pots and pans that we could use. The location is close to a station which makes things easy. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the fact that we could easily walk to some neighborhood grocery stores when we needed things. There are also convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. Great little spot."

"Great location near to everything and place had everything we needed and was clean and tidy"

"Good stay! Owner is very helpful "

"It was nice but a little on the smaller side. The front desk people were very nice and tried there best to help."

"This hotel is in a great location with really modern rooms and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel while visiting Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and helped us with the check-in process and also to call an uber driver during the checkout."

"staff was very kind and the stay was excellent!"

"Staying at the Minn Karasuma Gojo Kyoto Station, was one of the best parts of our trip. The location was convenient to Kyoto Station, there were lots of coffee shops around and the only a short walk to a grocery store. The accommodations had everything we needed, plates, cups, glasses, cookware and a washer/dryer with detergent. It was super clean and quiet, with plenty of space for our family to stretch out and not be on top of each other. Would definitely stay there again."

"I misunderstood or was misled when I booked a vacation rental thinking it was going to be a regular hotel and I had to wait with my bags for several hours before I could check in. The room could provide a more comfortable chair with a back support."
