「Jewel Lake was a house style Bed and Breakfast. You make your own breakfast, but the kitchen was stocked well. Our room was in the basement with steep stairs so I don’t recommend those rooms for older travelers. There are rooms on the main floor of the house. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a short stay. Most people use it for cruise layover time. We took an Uber into Anchorage and did a tour which was fun too. 」

「I have stayed here three times in the last year I have found it a place to stay. It is close to the airport it’s clean and the times I have stayed quiet. For people who stayed here years ago when it was under different management, I suggest you give it a try. I know for many Alaskans it has a bad reputation, but things have changed for the better. 」
