Go early for tour tickets. Sold out when we got there & didn't get to go into the cave.

Jewel Cave was a bust for us. We got there around 3:00 and were brusquely informed that there were no more spots available that day. Later, my lady did some research. One can make reservations, but not less than three days in advance. Furthermore, in the summer, they are typically sold out by noon.
