「Convenient location, close to Tsugaike and Iwatake where the property owner will drop you daily in the morning and pick up in the afternoon on request. 「We were spoilt with first class attention and assistance from Andrew, the host, and staff. It is why we like to choose an owner establishment rather than a 'marbled foyer'. A warm lounge and wine and conversation to come back to at the end of an unbelievable ski day. Love the underfloor heating! The shuttle is quick, easy and flexible. The location is great and a short walk to and from dining options. We can't wait to get back!」

「The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable. Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities. The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages. If you get a chance, listen to Echo play the piano 」

「I really enjoyed my time at Dark Horse. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and helped out in many ways, both big and small. Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. I would recommend it, and would stay there again without hesitation.」

「コロナ禍明けで新しいオーストラリア人オーナーになり、着任1カ月のニュージーランド人スタッフなどもフレンドリーで親切でした。 ゲストもインターナショナルで半分外国にいるようで、ウチの家族は英語で楽しく過ごしました。 ただ、ロッジ前の駐車場から道路の雪掻きを自分たちでして車を動かしましたが、本来スタッフがもう少し雪掻きもがんばってほしいです。 あと、部屋の壁が薄いのか隣りの部屋の声がよく聞こえました。」
