Rakuten STAY TERRACE Hakone Kowakudani

8/10 Good

"Location was great. Price reasonable and very clean. Fully equipped with everything you need. The one inconvenience is that keeps me from giving 5 stars was that there was no one to call when you need anything, even if you place a request on their portal. They don’t deliver unless you’re staying multiple nights, The chat didn’t work. They gave us 2 coffee pods for a group of 4 people. The Nearest store is a 20 min uphill walk to get coffee. They have a vending machine but no coffee pods. Coffee is very important to us."

Hakone Gora KARAKU (ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS)

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful accomodation - views, onsen, restaurant and service were amazing!"

Hakone Yutowa

10/10 Excellent

"Nice hotel with good choice of breakfast and dinner options considering a lower price than others in the area. Go half board as there are limited options otherwise near the hotel,"

Shimoda Tokyu Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were wonderful and so kind and helpful. We got in late after driving from tokyo after a 16 hour flight and we were so happy to walk into the room we had. It was clean, large and comfortable. When we woke up the next morning and opened our curtains we were met with the most gorgeous view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was huge and had a wide variety of choices. You could enjoy eggs and bacon and pancakes or have a plate of sushi and a bowl of rice. Every breakfast drink you could think of. There was a vending machine on the first floor that had beer and water and juice and laundry facilities as well. Not to mention a spa and onsen. The beach was a short stroll from the back door through a beautiful walkway down the steps. If you find yourself in shimoda this is a wonderful choice for a place to call home."

Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa

10/10 Excellent

"The most relaxing place you can stay in Ito. Highly recommend. They also have private onsens for people with tattoos or for families."

Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori（ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS）

10/10 Excellent

"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."
