「Views of sheep from conservatory in back (where we spent most of our time) and glorious water views from dining table out front which are not shown in listing but should be! Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. Just a fact on Skye!」

「Our family enjoyed 2 nights on Skye which were a much needed rest during our trip exploring Scotland. The space was warm, clean and cozy. We played games watched movies and cooked meals. Generally just slowing down for a full day. It was lovely, thank you Lorraine.」

「We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. 」

「My wife and I spent 3 nights at Hugh's Highland Hideaway as the centerpiece of our 12 day Scotland vacation. What rare a special place. The cottage is surrounded my meadows and grazing sheep set againast beautiful green mountain slopes behind. Inside it's very well kept and clean with updated heaters, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was especially impressive with everything we needed to cook our meals every morning and evening. Very close to Storr and The Quiraing we hiked both and made it...
