"To start… I understand there was a change in management just days before we stayed there, so perhaps they are just getting organized… The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property with two lovely, swimming/soaking beaches and a lovely outside dining area. Loud reggaeton blaring… we finally asked them to switch to salsa but still LOUD and constant.If not your thing this will be an issue… The property is in overall good condition… but some key things lacking. Rooms are huge, sheets/beds comfy....

"Excellent property with an outstanding Team and service. The amenities and attention from the concierge, front desk, housekeepers, pool and beach, restaurant staff is beyond 5 stars… The only thing i would not consider 5 stars is the road that leads to the hotel, the gravel road is not suitable for everyone or any car, our taxi driver had a flat tire that had to change when he dropped us off, imagine if this happened in the middle of the road or at night! Hope the hotel and other properties...

"We enjoyed our stay at fenix beach club! We stayed in the deluxe bungalow which was very nice and cleaned daily. Though the downfalls of fenix for us were the food price for relatively mediocre food as well as the slow service during breakfast and dinner time as we waited on average of 45 minutes just to be served. However the staff were very kind and helpful which made the overall stay at fenix very enjoyable and we would recommend staying there to anyone in the future."
