"Room was clean, the gym was effective, although probably not big enough for more than 2 people in there at a time. The pool was clean. The breakfast was good. Breakfast burrito bar and oatmeal. Staff was very nice. Although they said they upgraded my long bed to 2 queens; is that really an upgrade? At any rate it was nice. And I’ll definitely be back. "

"This has been a bit difficult to review. The house overall was fine. The pictures were fairly accurate, but at the same time misleading. They give the impression of a much larger space. For instance, the kitchen is actually quite small, but because the oven is not full-size the pictures make the space seem larger. This wasn’t the main problem, though it made it difficult to prepare food for our group of 8. The main let down was that it could really use better upkeep. We chose the property because the patio and yard looked so fun and the temperatures while we were visiting the area were going to be too cold for swimming. However, the pictures were obviously dated. Everything was a bit run down and needed some repairs. The yard chess set was cracked & falling apart. The interior of the house was tidy enough, and thankfully the kitchen table & beds were true to size. The overall feel was that of visiting a grandparents house. To be clear, it wasn’t a bad stay; just a little disappointing for the price. It was in the same price range as houses with private pools & hot tubs, which as stated we only passed up because of the temperature. The other reviews hinting at the quaint size made a bit more sense once we saw the space in person. Overall we still had a good trip. We didn’t have any direct contact with the host while we were there, but everything was well enough in order. With some revisions, this will be a good stay for anyone who knows what they are getting before going in."
