「The home was as advertised, a little bit older, but they're doing a nice job on the remodel. it was in a great neighborhood and the location was perfect for the wedding we attended. Homewood, IL is a cute little town with great restaurants and had train access to Chicago if you want to spend time downtown. we highly recommend eating at the Blueberry Hill Pancake House, Stoney Point Grill and the Twisted Q. 「I work for a non for profit company and we wanted to give the people we serve an experience like any of us could have. Yes they live in a CILA home, but do they have the luxury of leaving and going to have a staycation or vacation as us without being told so this was a great experience for them the house was immaculate. 「The house is very old, however, the owners have made updates that make it comfortable. Very clean inside. The kitchen and bathroom is well stocked. The neighborhood is very well kept and people/neighbors are very friendly. I would recommend for adults or corporate stays just because the stairways are a little steep and lacking in handrails. Had a great experience with the host which means a lot to me when I book a vacation rental.」
