"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the North Star Lodge. Everything about the home is comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked and we lacked for nothing during our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Looking out at the lake through the gold leaves of the aspen trees can only be described as serene. And you will not find a better or more attentive host than Heather. Being so close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park afforded us several opportunities to go listen to the elk bugle - which was our reason for visiting the area. Providing everything to make s'mores is a nice touch. We enjoyed them in front of a cozy fire.Thank you for your hospitality! We hope to stay again."
