The property was fine, centrally located, basic accommodations. We arrived at check in and our cabin wasn't ready until an hour and a half after we arrived....the staff were very apologetic, but it messed up our evening.

I felt very sorry to the host that I had a flat tire, waited for the towing and stayed in a room longer than expected but the host was very nice to me. Grand Lake is kind of a remote area , maintaining and renting such property with good size plus kitchen is not so easy. However I appreciate it!

We found the check in process difficult but realised on our travels around Colorado that this is normal. It was just missing the personal touch. The cabin was roomy and had everything needed (except a hairdryer!!!!) for a two night stay. It just all felt a little grubby. I do not like leaving a negative review as I am aware that it is someones livelihood. The cabin is close to Grand Avenue and all its amenities. Perhaps we had too high an expectation for the price. This place has all the bare bones and masses of potential.

Easy check-in and out, small, no air conditioning; only a gas stow for heating, need to keep windows open for airflow and oxygen. Not suitable for a long stay. Cleanliness is great, especially for such an old place.

Good location close to the downtown walking area. It was clean. We were in the Wolf cabin. It had a really good-sized living room area. Negatives: There were absolutely no electrical outlets in the bedroom. Two in the living room, one of which was needed for the TV; the other was thankfully around the corner from the bedroom. There were 2 lamps in the living room, but you couldn't plug both in unless you wanted them both on the same side of the couch. We had to go to ACE Hardware in Granby and buy extension cords and power strips so my husband could plug in his CPAP and we could move in a lamp and charge our phones by the bed. (Went to Granby because the one hardware store in Grand Lake was already closed at 5:00) When we arrived the gas was on on the stove, but not lit- probably accidentally bumped by the cleaning person. So it took a while to clear the air up. No A/C, but a couple fans were there- had to plug them into our power strip too. Most of the windows do not open, so it was hard to get a breeze going through there, but by morning it was comfortable. We had to wait until 4:45 to get into our cabin because they didn't have it ready. I wouldn't stay again. Just too many strikes!

Old style “cabin”; not located anywhere nice or quaint. Next to a mobile home park. The door only locked with a handle lock- no deadbolt. Not a location to hang out at— but a good overnight before RMNP.

Cute rustic cabin. SUPER CLEAN!!! I have stayed in 5-star hotels that were not any cleaner! Anna the cabin manager was amazing, great communication and was super quick and helpful for the couple of small things we needed. We would definitely stay again!

The place had cobwebs although many of the rooms were clean. The cabin's bathroom was small with min. ventilation. Although it can accomodate four but its more like a coupe than a sedan. Ok for a day / night. Lacked basic stuff like paper towels in the kitchen, functional WiFi, disfunctional heater and very small fans and no plug points in the bedroom. Except for the common area, rest of the cabin was incredibly small.

Clean room! Close to Grand Lake Village! Rustic feel! We enjoyed ourselves! Queen size bed was very comfortable! The room had fans to plug in (for summer)! Bring an extension cord to plug in - so fans can move (be placed) where needed! Nice place and get away!

It is an old property but well maintained and very clean. The property manager was super helpful and very friendly. The location was great, a couple of blocks into the heart of downtown. Maybe because it was just outside of downtown, or maybe because it was older, or maybe because it lacked a pool, but the price was very reasonable for the area. I would highly recommend for the traveler that just needs a clean, quiet place to stay.

The quality of the residence is poor compared to the price charged. This is a very old building. The amenities are old. The place where we were given the room was right next to a dumpster.

Cabin was clean and neat. Staff asked if we need additional bedding stuff. They City market just beside the property. Only thing they should mention clearly on listing that AC is not available and they should provide table fans instead of small fan in bedroom.
