"First of all, the views from the balcony of the penthouse were spectacular! Truly breathtaking. But the room itself had some serious design issues. First of all, the elevator did not work the entire duration of our stay. The last step to the penthouse is hard to see and if you miss one, you could fall down half a flight of stairs. While there is plenty of seating for dining in the penthouse (maybe 12 chairs at 2 tables), the bed situation and the bathroom situation need improvement. There is only one bathroom with a door. The other bathroom opens up to the bedroom. This is really inconvenient. Why not put a door on the bathroom?? Also, I didn't look closely at the bed situation because the listing said 6 beds and we were 4 adults, so I didn't think there would be a problem. But there are only 2 real beds. The others include 2 cots in a lofted space with a seriously vaulted ceiling (good for maybe under 10 year olds), one sofa bed in the main living area and one Murphy bed (also in the main living area) -- so only 2 useable beds, to be honest. The entire space needs a deep cleaning. I know this is cabincore, but the vents in the bathroom were frankly disgusting. All this being said, we did enjoy staying with you, but I feel like for the price, this didn't live up to my expectations."

"This cabin was a beautiful place to spend time with family and enjoy the natural beauty of colorado. A highlight was seeing moose walk right by the cabin! The kitchen was very well stocked which made cooking a breeze and the beds were comfortable. We met the hosts as we were leaving and they were so friendly. I definitely recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!!"

"We had a wonderful time at our stay here at the Mountain Song Cabin in Grand Lake, CO. It was clean and everything was labeled in the cabin which made it easier to locate and return items to their rightful places. It was roomy and was able to accommodate us all comfortably. We loved the lake view and the ability to use the water toys, canoe, paddle boats, etc for our pleasure. It was very peaceful and quiet and just a short drive away from the town of Grand Lake. Our host was awesome. She was easy to communicate with and did so in a timely manner. She was very easy to work with. She allowed early check in for our guests coming into town early. The views were spectacular and the moose sightings around and in the lake were breathtaking ! We are hoping to stay in this cabin next year over Labor Day if at all possible."

"We had a great time at this location. Everything was as advertised, and the kitchen was unusually well-stocked. Very comfy beds, and a peaceful area close to many attractions. It's dog-friendly, too, which was a plus for us.There were a few minor issues: 1) there was no shampoo or body wash in any of the bathrooms Not a huge problem, but surprising, given the other amenities. 2) the house did seem to get stuffy overnight, but the small fans in the upstairs bedroom helped, and 3) the house information book needs updating, as it still references practices and requirements that were actively in place during the pandemic. It would have been great to have some info on the TV included, too, but we figured it out."
