「What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester.」

「Spotlessly clean, wonderful hosts, excellent (and huge!) breakfast. Lovely towpath walk along the canal into the town centre. Only marked down because when we booked, the room was described as en suite when in fact the shower room was separate, shared and up a steep flight of stairs. 」

「This hotel was the first stop we made when traveling from Canada. Unfortunately we only booked for one night however it was worth it! It was great to Uber from the airport and just spend our first evening in. We checked in, ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the hydrotherapy amenities of the hotel. I booked this hotel specifically for the hydrotherapy knowing that after a long day's worth of travel it would be a great way to start our vacation. The only thing was we were not given...

「Really big, lovely clean rooms. Fantastic value for money and breakfast was superb. We stayed for a concert at Co op Live which was a 15 minute taxi ride away. Highly recommend and would definitely stop again.」

「Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. 」

「The room was clean. However, the bathroom had hair in the bathtub and sink. The bathroom was quite small, so it was difficult to maneuver around. Check-in staff were lovely, but unfortunately, it went downhill quite quickly. The ladies were rude, as well as a gentleman. You would think they were being forced to work there. I stayed for 2 nights; I wouldn't return.」

「Room was clean, no visible parking and noone to ask when returning with the car at 11.30pm. Took 20minutes to check in because the boss wasnt around and he wanted cash until I refused to go to a cash machine. Felt sorry for the lady as it wasnr her fault, just lazy boss. 」
