「The town of Comfort has great small town vibes taking a person’s memory back to simpler times. We celebrated July 4th here and Hotel Giles was the perfect place to be. The hotel is close to a few eating establishments and very walkable to them. This hotel is clean and historic with very unique rooms. There is a cool courtyard for guests to enjoy. Pool is also wonderful, and relaxing with beautiful flowers around the property and pool! 「I liked that it didn't have a hotel feel. I didn't see staff but I also liked that.The room had everything you needed. It had more of a private feel than your usual hotel. Beautiful landscaping with nature all around. The location of Comfort has the feeling of going back in time which was very nice for relaxing vacation.」

「The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. 」
