「The space is beautiful inside and out, we struggled with the gate lock the first couple of times we used it, it started to loosen up the more we used it. The frogs come alive at night and give you a symphony. If you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping bring ear plugs. We will absolutely stay here again.」

「Lehua looked great in the add and was far better in person. We loved our stay-and seriously considered asking if we could stay longer. “LLC” had everything we needed and more-we were able to cook all our meals in a delightfully comfortable setting. Coqui frogs, though invasive, were a lovely treat to fall asleep to at night. We were unbelievably close to Volcanoes NP, for the fountaining lava and close enough to summit Mauna Kea! 「We had a wonderful time staying at Mark's place and visiting the NP. Mark is a great host and was invaluable in alerting us to the latest eruptions. Thanks to him, we were able to witness the eruption on July 9th, which was an amazing 1,200 foot tall fountain of lava. You can really tell that Mark put some thought into the cottage and its amenities. We had everything we needed for our visit. Highly recommended!」

「Wonderful cottage nestled in a rainforest setting, far back from the road. It was clean, comfortable, ample towels and bedding/blankets. Every room had night lights and switches were clearly labeled. Perfect for two couples, matching en-suite bedrooms. And so close to Hawaii Volcanoes NP, made it easy for us to be there early. Sorry we didn't plan a longer stay. 」

「We had a great stay. Pictures represent the property well. The place is about 20 minutes from Pahoa city-center (if that’s helpful). Met Sean who shared some insights about the area and local cuisine. Ashley was great at communicating and checking in with us via VRBO messages. Overall we had a really nice time in the area and were grateful to have a peaceful place to stay as we explored this side of the Island.」

「Our stay at Hale Hapu‘u was brief, but lovely! It’s a great spot, easy access to lots of areas of the island. The cottage was warm and inviting. My only (very minor) feedback is that compared to other spots we stayed for similar pricing, the kitchen amenities felt a little lacking. It was great for a short stay, but I think we’d have struggled with the size of the sink and a mini-fridge if we had been there much longer than a day or two. But that’s a small thing that didn’t impact us this time...

「We really enjoyed our two-week stay at the cottage. It had a little of everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The back lanai was especially nice. The geckos would visit us every time we ate on the back lanai. And you could hear the ocean from time to time. Lots of ocean cliffs nearby to walk to and explore. The only recommendation we have is to fix/replace the microwave above the stove, although Kelly had a backup microwave available. Everything to see on the Hilo side of the island was...

"5度目の滞在。自然に囲まれカエルの声やみどりのトカゲに普通に出会う。近くに海岸があり毎日散歩に行った。以前より掃除が行き届いている。共同のキッチンだが、使う人はあまり多く無く、食器もよく洗って使うと不便さは感じ無い。１棟ずつのや3棟続いているものもあり、部屋の快適さが違うと思う。住むように楽しで、また行くだろう。"
