"Our stay at The Atheneum exceeded expectations. Our Deluxe Suite King room was squeaky clean, and larger than we expected. The bathtub was enormous and great for soaking after a long day. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a conference at Huntington Place, and it was easy to walk there each day. We really appreciated the staff accommodating a late check-out. "Clean room. Facility is clean. Structured. Room very comfortable. Valet attendants go above. Courteous, helpful as I am handicapped needed care to load/unload. Once we learned the access to the hotel not being where the casino is was much easier. A lot of construction in the area. "

"Exceeded expectations. Great hotel that is perfectly located in downtown Detroit. Walking distance to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, and Ford Field. Also Detroit Opera House, Fillmore, and Fox. Room was awesome. Breakfast in Rise is very good. The Lone Goat pub is attached and awesome. Lots of shops, cocktail bars, etc in the immediate area. Definitely will go back."
