Friendly Hotel for Foreigners in Tokyo

"This hotel is very friendly to foreigners. The rooms are small but very cozy so we opted for 2 rooms for 4 people. There’s 2 convenient stores, a self service currency exchange machine, a self-service coin laundry, tons of restaurants, a spa, a pharmacy, walking distance to the Shinjuku Train/Metro station but far enough away from the crowds of rush hours. Etc. etc. It is also a main dropoff/pickup stop for the Airport Limousine Bus so it’s easy to get to and from Narita and Haneda Airports. "

"The knot is in a great residential location away from downtown Shinjuku. A quiet neighborhood compared to the east side of the station. Walkable to the government building and the station tunnels. An easy walk from the government building to Shinjuku station. The shinjuku park was a great green space to relax after the busy downtown. The knot also has a great bakery and restaurant called Morethan."

"The hotel is new, the entrance is as grand as can be with a self service check in method. Rooms are quite small as you would expect in major Japanese cities. The rooftop pool and sun lounging area isn’t included in the booking price you have to book it at reception for an extra fee. "
