"The view of Mt. Fuji was awesome. Love the room with onsen and top of roof onsen gives a great view of Mt. Fuji. Food was excellent breakfast and dinner with Taiko show. The gardens were beautiful. The all you can drink wine was great. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a really fun stay at RakutenSTAY FUJIMITERRACE Hakone Ashinoko! We especially loved the private onsen and the foot bath — it was so relaxing. The views were amazing, with Lake Ashi, Mt. Fuji, and the torii gate all visible nearby. The location was great, very close to the pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi and the torii gate at Hakone Shrine. There was also a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and a bakery within a short walk, which made things really convenient. The property is an unmanned facility, but the check-in process was easy and we didn’t have any problems. It is a bit far from the train station and requires taking a bus, but it worked well for us since we were driving from Tokyo. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hakone!"

"The rooms were excellent! We had an open air onsen and that was so delightful. The public onsen was also amazing and last but not least, the buffet restaurant….the food was amazing with so much selection and excellent quality. There was everything and included all you could drink (open bar). I felt totally zen even with one night"

"Clean room, friendly staff, great foods and lounge experience. Unfortunately our room clock and the facial steamer weren’t working properly. Also the kettle was difficult to use it. However very great experience with them! Definitely worth to visit again! "

"The hotel is tucked away in the mountains of Hakone - making it a convenient location for the ropeway access and a nice experience. Downstairs is a large living room concept with a wooden fire -- fun place to hang out and mingle/relax. Few nice touches that provide for a nice experience -- every guest usually wears their yakuta attire they receive in the room. There is an onsen that you can use which is wonderful! The room has good amenities. The service is a bit slower and maybe not as solutions-based as you might need, but everyone is nice. The hotel offers shuttles to Gora,Sauzon stations - which is helpful if you take the train from Odawara to these stations. You can also reserve a shuttle from Odawara to hotel."

"Close to Atami Station, so easy to access trains, busses, taxis and shopping. Not as many amenities as a more expensive hotel, but they supply everything you need and there’s a Family Mart one block away. The staff are lovely and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is small by North American standards, but I enjoyed it very much. This is a great, affordable Japanese hotel in a small onsen town. It was better than I expected at this price point. Two thumbs up! PS Don’t skip the Atami pudding in town, it’s worth waiting in line."
