「The Junction is a nice place to stay in Plett. The beds are comfortable, there is Aircon and the style is modern and new. The rooms are not very bright, so not the best place to hang in the day, but absolutely perfect as a nightly base, especially with the block-out curtains. The location is excellent right in the middle of town so you can walk anywhere. Right by Seakrit Spot and Market off Main which is very convenient. I’d stay here again for a short stay of a few nights. 」

「My partner and I stayed one night at this great place! After entering the main gate it was a little difficult to find but eventually we did. Parking is reasonable. The view from their main amenities area is fantastic. We did not use any of the amenities but it all seemed like a great offering. Very nice, easy access to the lagoon which is beautiful to experience. The room itself was just enough space for the 2 of us, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The property owner greeted us...

However, overall I was quite disappointed, I had expected a proper hotel and a much more luxurious experience given we paid over $500 per night. I wonder and hope this was a holiday price and other guests aren’t charged as much 」

The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. 」

I took shower at the balcony outside, which was also nice. The dinner food is quite delicious, and breakfast is as well. I wanted to stay a few more days..」

「In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa.」
