"Staff was rude. We had volleyball and had to be somewhere else at 7am and stopped in around 640am and staff instead of politely telling us that some buffet items weren’t ready hollered from her space to not eat any of the certain food items. Shower made noise when turning water to hot. Toilet ran so husband had to fix toilet but then next day it needed new equipment and continued to run. "

"Parking was interesting insight there is very minimal and for some reason they had the drive by the main entrance blocked off so I had to drop my daughter off back out onto Phillips Ave. and drive around the the section while she went to ask where to park. They do have underground valet parking for $15 a night or we were able to park across the street in a back parking lot free Friday, Sat, and checked out on Sunday. Love the area wish we could have checked out the Treasury but our schedule did not allow. Beautiful hotel will stay again! "

"I travel often for work and wasn't previously aware of this new hotel. The Highpoint is associated with the Sanford Health/University of South Dakota Medical campus. I am always impressed by forward-thinking concepts that address needs. In this case, the hotel provides support for patient family/friends, visiting medical professionals and potential students, and business travelers looking for professional, quiet accommodations centrally located. The hotel is affordably priced with an upscale feeling in lobbies and rooms. The city views are tremendous. The highpoint is a great choice for business and personal stays."

"Property was in an industrial area which my wife referred to as "sketchy". I didn't think it was too bad, but also agreed that we'd drive to the restaurant we were going to instead of walking the distance of just under a mile. I do like the rooms at My Place properties...just well appointed & clean, which I appreciate. If I stay here in the future, I'd ask for a room opposite of the southwest corner where our room was. Traffic was LOUD & was loud all night long!! "
