「We have stayed at Cove Point Lodge many times over the past 10 years. Usually we stay in one of the cabins but the prices have increased so much and coming from Canada it's an additional expense. This time we stayed in a room at the lodge, while the room was very spacious, with a sofa and a balcony, it seemed a bit run down. The screen on the patio door was taped up and falling off. 「Clean and well maintained property with a comfortable room. The little mini golf course in the front of the hotel is a nice feature for families with young kids. Breakfast offerings average and the breakfast room is a bit cramped on a morning with lots of fellow travelers in town. Location is good with lots within walking distance, a laundromat just across the highway, etc.」

「The view is spectacular, outdoor offerings like the playground, yard games and s’mores were appreciated. The room was ready by check-in time but the key card wasn't working and staff resolved timely. Things happen. The property has deferred maintenance and they appear to be working on turning that around. We would not stay here again- dark halls, hard dried out soap, gross tub stains from several dirty feet prior, wooden toilet seat with the paint worn off but the carpeting appeared new. Just...

「2 story hotel but no elevator. Was told they only had a king room available on 2nd floor. A few steps (actually 13 to 15) wasn't bad. Room was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was adequate. We didn't use the pool or fitness room so I can't say anything about those.」
