Golden Bay

hotel was very good

I've been to 40 countries and stayed in many different hotels but I had the most awkward and embarrassing experience staying at a hotel here. I had a flight late in the evening so I asked someone at reception if I can check out an hr late to sleep in and take my time packing. I guess maybe things were miscommunicated, idk but they were so rude and kept heckling me to leave. It was extremely awkward and embarrassing, I personally would never stay here again if I'm back in Malta. A side note, the area is full of bars so if you're looking for a quiet place, this is probably not the place for you, but if that's your thing then the location is actually pretty convenient with lots of bars and restaurants.
