30km boardwalk all along Gold Coast which is phenomenal! We walked 11.5km from Surfers to Burleighs Head, via Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach & Miami. Stunning walk. Burleigh is also an amazing place. We hired the bikes and cycled back. Loved our time here

Being pretty laid back, and not in for theme parks and crazy, l would never stay in Surfers again. I travelled down to Coolangatta by bus the day before l left and there are so many beautiful coastline south of Surfers. Loved Coolangatta.

Great but traffic busy early morning and late afternoon. Great weather too Beach Promenade has been updated and widened all the way to Main Beach. Great walking. Kurawa Beach Surf Club has excellent coffee along the promenade too.

Love the gold coast for a family adventure at all the amusement parks. Love main beach, clean and quiet! Only downside we didn't expect was the terrible traffic between airport and the gold coast suburbs. Endless road works!

The Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) is starting to look a run down. The Broadbeach and SouthPort areas appear to be much more modernised and maintained. However Surfers Paradise will always be the heart of the Gold Coast.

We enjoy staying at Broadbeach. It is less crowded and has easy access to the beach front. Plenty of restaurant choices and great shopping at Pacific Fair.

"Check in was very efficient, front desk staff were very professional. When we got to the room, the staff knocked with a happy birthday cupcake. The room was clean and had a great view. Close and convenient to all shops, bars, restaurants and beach. Swimming pool, gym and laundry facilities at a small cost. Pool towels provided."
"Excellent and very helpful staff, located accross the road from tram stop which we used every day, 1 stop to Broadbeach, 2 stops to Pacific Fair, we even took a trip to Brisbane on tram then train, very convenient. Our room was large and modern"
"Location: The resort is conveniently connected to the seaworld theme park, and it's very easy to get in and out. It is a half hour-ish drive to other theme parks, about 10mins to Australia fair mall and Broadwater parklands. Parking was okay for the most part but we were here in the low-period so it'll be chaos when it's busier.
Facilities: The water play area was great and a big hit for my two toddlers. I used the gym and the spa which were good but nothing to get excited about. Lots of activities available for children and regular appearances by exciting cartoon friends.
Food: The breakfast was lovely, there were plenty of options. We also tried the midwinter Christmas buffet and it was delicious. Unfortunately didn't get around to trying the Japanese, and the pasta restaurant was just okay.
Room: just a basic room, nothing to complain about or get excited about. It was clean and comfortable, and we had enough space to spread out.
Conclusion: one of the best places we've travelled to specifically for our kids. Will definitely recommend to young families. Every staff member we interacted with was absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. "
