"The property was close to everything we did while visiting Savannah. The rooms were very clean, and beautiful! I gave the staff a 3 stars while we were visiting we met two very nice staff members, one while eating breakfast, he was cleaning, and filling everything- he was incredibly polite, and very attentive! The other was a gentleman that was checking guests in- however we did not end up with him. He was very friendly, and helpful to the guest he was checking in. We had a slightly different experience with the lady that checked us in. She was rude, and not very helpful. The next morning seemed to have the same issue. We are not high maintenance guest either- we simply asked about parking while checking in, and handed our key in to the desk in the morning. I hate to write anything negative- the hotel is definitely worth checking out, and I could only hope we just caught some of the staff on an off day. "

"The hotel was clean and friendly. They had staff stationed inside and out, giving an extra sense of care and safety. The location was fantastic! We recommend this to families and people of all ages."

"Great location! Close to everything, nice bar in the lobby. What we did not like is 3 elevators only one worked consistently. Construction going on, just caused more noise, hard to get through hallways, and issues getting cars through valet because of the construction staff trucks."

"The worst part about the whole thing was staff/customer service. My first time staying at this location. Vallet was a mess noone really telling you what to do. Check in was not very friendly. Did not explain amenities. Just got a vibe of give us your money and here is your room key. The main thing this place has is location being right on river walk. For the cost I paid I would not stay here again."

"This was my 3rd time staying at Riverside Inn. I love how it’s walking distance to everything. The rooms are confiable with a great view. The in house restaurant was excellent. Front desk staff and valet were very helpful. We took advantage of the happy hour on the porch. It’s the best place to stay in Savannah."

"Our stay at the DeSoto was great! It’s so close and convenient to everything in Historic District. The staff are all friendly and helpful! Reese and Charli were both great valets! This wasn’t our first stay, and it won’t be our last!"

"This property is great. Convenient to many of Savannah’s must sees, great staff and atmosphere!!! The only negative comment will be regarding Expedia. There was an additional “Destination Fee” which had to be paid to the hotel when we checked out. The hotel did give us restaurant vouchers to counteract this fee but Expedia should include this in the upfront fees when booking. We would return to this hotel if we visit Savannah again!!!!"

"Room was clean and shower was nice. I needed to print something for a work conference and they don’t have a business center, but the very kind woman at the front desk printed it for me. The location of this hotel is great. I would stay here again."
