"Fantastic staff and clean room in this affordable hotel"

"The hotel was nice. It’s new. Rooms are pretty small for 3 people but adequate. However housekeeping left our door open while we were gone. When we returned, we were shocked to find it open and management was totally blasé about it. They apologized but didn’t offer an explanation or seem to think it was a big deal. I was pretty upset as I was traveling alone with kids and we had valuables in the room, etc."

"For the price it’s pretty good. I’d stay here again. The room was clean as in the bathroom, fresh bedding, etc but definitely in need of a deep clean. We kept our shoes on because the carpet seemed questionable. I looked under the beds to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind and there was a thick layer of dust. The “breakfast” is just fruit, yogurt and frozen waffles or breakfast sandwiches that were kinda hard and stale. No bagels or anything like that. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had to keep asking for extra towels because my kids have very long hair and use one for body and one for hair. They only gave us 3 at a time when we needed 6 or more lol "

"The suite is spacious and located in an excellent spot, so I’d happily stay again. However, I think the receptionist needs to do better with his tone of communication and customer relations. He’s not the best person to ask for directions when you’re stuck. Aside from his tone and approach, I’m really impressed with the suite and would definitely recommend it."

"We had a lovely 3-night stay. The room was clean; the carpet seemed new; the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The air conditioning worked very well. The cleaning staff was diligent in their duties and they were pleasant and courteous - they even offered to bring my suitcase down from my room on the 2nd floor to my car. The staff at the front desk were courteous, efficient and helpful. The free continental breakfast was satisfying and greatly appreciated. We found the hotel (motel, no elevator) to be very convenient with it taking no more than 30-minutes by car to get to anywhere we wanted to visit. Great value for the money - we would be happy to return the next time we're in Vancouver. "
