"While this hotel is at some distance from Motohakone (20mins easy walk on a mostly flat road), we found the property absolutely gorgeous, the lakeside views priceless, and the onsen just perfect. It was my friend's first time at the onsen and he loved it! The service was also topnotch and the hotel restaurants were both very good (we tried the French cuisine as well as the traditional Japanese cuisine). Amazing massage - probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The only thing I would mark down slightly is the food. "
